To set email notifications and newsletters with reports from TravelLine Rate Shopper, take the following steps:
1. Go to “Rate Shopper” > “Settings”. Open the “Email reports and notifications” tab.
2. Click on the “Add notification” button.
You can choose between two types of notifications:

3. In the “Notification name” field, enter the name of the notification. For example, “Notification of the price change of Competitor-hotel 1”.
4. Enter an email address to receive notifications. You can add several emails at once. Then, click on the “Create” button to save.
5. In the “Followed competitors” section, tick the competitor hotels whose prices you want to see in the notifications. You can select an unlimited number of competitor hotels.
6. In the “Terms of messaging” section, indicate in what cases you want the notifications to be sent. You can select either one or several cases at once.
Notify about closing and opening of hotel sales offers: the notification is sent when the competitor hotel starts or stops sales.
Notify about price change: the notification is sent when the competitor hotel changes price rates. You can set at what change amount or rise/drop in percent it is going to be sent.
Notify about position change: the notification is sent when the hotel’s market spot changes.
The notifications will be sent to your email in case any of the above-mentioned changes happen. If necessary, the notification can be edited or deleted by going back to the notifications list and clicking on the “Action” button.
In case you select the Report
3. In the “Notification name” field, enter the name of the report.
4. Enter an email address to receive notifications. You can add several emails at once. Then, click on the “Create” button to save.
5. In the “Excel reports delivery” section, tick the kinds of reports you want to receive.
6. In the “Rate type” section, select what price rates get into the report by making the following settings:
Accommodation type
Breakfast service
Reservation cancellation terms
Rate type
Rooms filter — it is going to be available only if you already set the room categories filter. Learn how to add room categories filter in the instruction.
You will receive the report daily at the time set in “Rate Shopper” > “Settings” > “Price collection timing” tab.
You can change the settings of reports and notifications by going to the “Rate Shopper” > “Settings” > “Email reports and notifications” tab and clicking on the “Action” button.
